I really dont think it mattered, PV would've still got that play off. Pinkston was in the endzone 2-3 seconds after the clock hit 0. Long play.
It was a long play-he ran like 200 yards total. haha. Insane play he had a pretty damn good game.

Yeah I think you're right.
Something else that was pretty fishy though was when Anderson (GC Quarterback) threw the pass to a receiver and as soon as he caught it, he was knocked to the ground then rolled over and the ball was laying there, but instead of marking it an incomplete pass or tackle, they say it's a fumble and let one of PV's players run it all the way back for a TD?
Several strange calls tonight.. not saying Powell Valley didn't win it fair and square though. The second half, they were like an entirely different team. They really opened up a can of whoop-ass.
I agree that wasn't a fumble. I think it was an incomplete pass. Game was over when Allen kicked that field goal. I screamed for us to let him kick it at CW, better late than never I guess.
Yeah game could of been 24-14 easy. Putting 9 men in the box on a team that won't pass is the way to put one away.
I couldn't see the "fumble" from were I was. I just saw 8 (malcom?) run it back 41 yards.
As far as the fumble goes, Cantrell stripped anderson of the ball during a tackle in the 2nd and didn't get the call...tit for tat..IMO the refs tonight were a lil confused at times tho...each team got some questionable calls at one time or another.
Yeah I think though they made some pretty good calls, sounds like GC got away with some PV got away with some.
There is no way that last one was a fumble, Jordan Martin ran it in though. I was on the phone getting the Grenta/William Campbell score when it happened. Similar game, Campbell actually led that game at halftime only to see Gretna blow the doors off in the second half.
